ZeeVee Case History

The professional audio-video or “pro AV” industry is a $186 billion b2b global market projected to grow to $230 billion by 2023, according to the global Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA). When ZeeVee signed Feintuch Communications as its agency of record in April 2018, this privately-held AV distribution technology company was seeking to be more competitive in key markets dominated by much larger competitors.

Feintuch Communications leveraged ZeeVee’s experience and expertise in the industry, particularly in the emerging AVoIP technology arena, through a PR/marketing program designed to build its brand and support sales growth. Along with an aggressive media outreach campaign, the plan focused on the development of thought-leadership activities, including AV and IT trade media interviews, white papers and bylined articles. We supported ZeeVee at its two largest trade shows, InfoComm and ISE, with the drafting and distribution of a press kit, conducting in-booth media briefings and entering key products for awards.

As a result of these efforts, ZeeVee’s media coverage nearly tripled in the program’s first year and the company measured a significant increase in brand awareness and AVoIP product recognition among both pro AV resellers and end-users. More than 3,235 new sales leads, a 26 percent increase in organic web search traffic and a 350 percent jump in online lead conversions were produced by the PR campaign – again all in the first year. Based upon nomination essays prepared by the Feintuch team, ZeeVee also won multiple “best product” awards in North American and EMEA markets.

In June 2019, the Public Relations Society of America, New York Chapter, recognized this campaign with two major industry awards. Feintuch PR and ZeeVee won both a "Big Apple" and honorable mention in a secondary category for using PR to establish marketplace leadership and boost sales.
