PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Convene, the nation's fastest growing network of meeting, event, and conference venues, officially launched today in Philadelphia, following a strategic acquisition of the full-service meeting operator The Hub in 2016. All former Hub employees have officially joined the Convene family, which is now over 275 employees and growing across New York City and Washington D.C.

Since the announcement of the acquisition in last February, Convene has been collecting feedback from clients in the Philadelphia region to ensure the newly rebranded spaces are optimized to provide upgraded meeting experiences for planners and their most important meeting participants. The team at Convene Philadelphia will continue to provide best-in-class service levels to customers, but now offer easier package pricing, enhanced food and beverage options, more resources and a growing network of meeting venues across the US.

Convene will now operate three meeting venues in Philadelphia, offering attendees a unique urban-centered and comfortable experience, with hospitality at its core.

• CityView: Located steps from Suburban Station, this is the ideal space to host meetings of all types and sizes. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views overlooking Rittenhouse Square, the space is sure to inspire collaboration and productivity for all sizes of meeting or events.
• Cira Centre: Attached to 30th Street Station, this unique space features sleek LEED-certified meeting spaces, and is often referred to as the most convenient location for transient business meetings within the heart of Amtrak's Northeast corridor.
• Commerce Square: Centrally located in the Logan Square area, this space is purposefully-designed for collaboration and productivity. This venue provides a variety of meeting spaces suitable for one-on-one meetings or large receptions, and is situated around a courtyard, providing green space and plenty of natural light throughout the venue.
